Place here the "travel to bergen" description.

By car/ferry
There are daily ferry sailings from Danish Hirtshals. For respective time tables, fees, and booking information please visit www.fjordline.no.
If you approach us from other parts of Norway, we suggest you drive the E16, Oslo-Bergen via Filefjell. This route, which is open to traffic all through the year, links eastern and western It requires no ferry rides but provides the highest number of and longest tunnels.
Alternative routes are the E16 to Hønefoss – RV7 to Hol and RV50 to Aurland, which will lead you back onto E16 again. From experience, this is the quickest route. However, the state of the road is – due to narrow tunnels etc. – on some sections significantly poorer than on the other routes.
You might also take the RV7 to Brimnes and the ferry to Bruravik in order to get to the E39 Voss-Bergen.
By train
The opportunities for traveling by train are limited. However, you might as an alternative take the Bergensbanen from Oslo. For time tables, fees, and booking information, please visit http://www.nsb.no/?lang=en_US.
